Who We Are

Hamptons Lutheran Parish is comprised of two lively and welcoming Evangelical Lutheran Church in America congregations on the East End of Long Island: Incarnation Lutheran Church and St. Michael’s Lutheran Church.  Our focus on community engagement and service to our neighbor is empowered by our faith and fueled by our weekly worship.

We love and value all of God’s children!

We acknowledge and appreciate what makes each person unique including age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, religious background, and history of imprisonment, addictions, abilities or other conditions that could divide us. We are Reconciling in Christ Congregations and strive to know Christ as savior who welcomes all.

You are invited to join us for Worship, Adult Forum, Sunday School, any and all of our ministries and fellowship opportunities.

Incarnation and St. Michael’s are Reconciling in Christ (RIC) congregations. What is RIC? The RIC designation is a program for congregations, synods, seminaries, colleges, and other Lutheran organizations that publicly welcome the full participation of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons. Currently, 883 Lutheran communities and organizations are on the RIC roster, and more than 385 communities are in the process of studying and/or receiving this designation. A Message From Pastor George W. Dietrich

Greetings in the name of our creator,

I am grateful for your interest in Hamptons Lutheran Parish.  The congregations, communities, and individuals that make up Hamptons Lutheran Parish inspire me daily.  I invite you to join us for worship, fellowship, any of our educational programs, or ministries.  There is always something happening — yes, always!  Even in the East End’s “off-season,” there is activity and love abounding at Incarnation and St. Michael’s.  If you have questions about who we are, what we believe, or are looking for someone to talk to, please do not hesitate to e-mail me.

In peace and love,

Pastor George
