St. Michael’s Lutheran Church was established in the 1960’s and has been serving the transient and yearlong communities of East End with fervor and love ever since. The sanctuary, fellowship space, and Sunday School room, the fenced garden, playground, and green space come alive with the growing membership every Sunday throughout the year. Our ministries include “The Table” food ministry, our community garden “Joyful Roots,” Christian education including Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, peacemaking through the arts, and more.
In 2013, St. Michael’s opened affordable housing and a community center for seniors. Learn more about St. Michael’s Windmill Housing here and check out this video from its dedication.
